I have been looking online for a set of digital scales which will give me more accurate Weight readings . My brain is in meltdown from all the different options! Can anyone recommend a good reliable one?

Hi I have had these from Argos for a few years - (number 444/9272) Weight Watchers Glass Precision Electronic Scales. Been happy with them and seem quite accurate as long as on hard floor. Measures as low as quarter of a pound so great to see how much you have lost if only a little bit. Not fancy though no body analyser. There are quite a few Weight Watchers ones in Argos with lots of good reviews so I guess any of them would be fine. Hope that helps :)

It does indeed help. I will have a look at Argos. I had started with Amazon but the range offered is vast! Thanks, muffintop.

I have these salter ones, accurate and reliable so long as they are on a hard level floor, they weigh to quarter pounds, nothing fancy, they just weigh but they look good too. Half price on Amazon at the moment!

Thanks, caz. Funnily enough this was one of the possibles I had picked out.

Hi wa2un7,

I use the ones that Caz28 has shown you. They are very good. I like the way they look too - reliable and actually well priced at the moment!

There are such a large range of scales out there, I can understand how you've been feeling overwhelmed by the vast choice!

Lowcal :-)

Only £10.99 and they're great! I've been using them over a year.

Thanks for that.

It doesn't matter! As long as you always use the same scales, your losses will be accurately measured. I have given up the expensive ones lately and got some from the cheap shop! What you are measuring is your progress in weight loss and almost any scales will do. I know that our home scales are a bit optimistic. But I will be taking them on holiday with me. I will weigh on them at the beginning and every week until I come back. So I will know how I am doing while on holiday. I would suggest weighing first thing in the morning, after going to the loo and wearing the same or similar clothes. That is likely to be the most accurate way of doing it. Oh and put your scales in the same place on a hard floor. Carpets do make it inaccurate.

Not what you're looking for?
