Struggling to Lose Weight
Hi, I'm finding the weight slow to budge too, I've lost a total of 5.5lb in 5 weeks, but as everyone keeps saying, a loss is a loss! Have you used the BMI tool to check how many calories your range is as you need to be eating enough or your metabolism won't work. I understand how frustrating it is, but stick with it, we can do this!
Check your BMI and make sure you're going by their calorie goal. I eat 1,400 calories a day and exercise about 3/4 times a week doing HIT workouts on youtube.
I use myfitnesspal apps that logs my calories so I don't go over and it also looks at my how much sugar etc I'm eating. Too much sugar or carbs might make you put on weight, some say if you don't drink enough your body holds the water and that also counts on the scales.
I'm no expert I'm just passing on what I've learnt on my own weight loss journey. You've still lost weight so don't worry you will get there. Everyone is different. If you can make any changes to boast it- maybe more exercise or a different exercise. Little changes in your diet e.g. less treats then try that.
If you eat too little calories your body will lower it's metabolism and you won't lose weight. Try using myfitnesspal or NHS BMI calculator to get a cal range? It's generally recommended women don't go below 1200 cals a day and men 1400
