I was in a rut and around 6 stone overweight...I'm half way through this 12 week plan and have lost 1 stone! I have weeks where I loose less than 1 pound and others where I have lost 2-3 pounds. Any tips for increasing my weightloss to a steady 2-3 pounds per week?
Thank you

I'm afraid I couldn't offer any tips to ensure a steady 2 to 3 pounds per week weight loss, as in my experience it doesn't tend to work like that, weight seems to fluctuate and vary, and infact some weeks it goes up slightly, or stays the same, and others it down slightly, it definitely doesn't seem to have a linear pattern, but the overall trend if you're sticking with the NHS 12 week plan is Onwards and downwards.
I think you're doing really well and making excellent progress so far. Congratulations on your weight loss achievements to date.
Keep a food diary and try repeating the good loss weeks. To see if it is what you're eating that makes the difference rather than an underlying rhythm of your body. Unfortunately we aren't machines, so the losses can be erratic. Are you able to do a little extra walking every day? That would help too, especially if you can gradually go further week by week. I have been losing a regular one and a half lbs per week recently. Until last week when I didn't lose an ounce. On reflection, I decided it was what I had done the week before (a big night out) that made the difference. But if someone else hadn't noticed, I wouldn't have, because the extra eating and drinking had happened the week before and not the week of the weigh in.
Well done with your weight loss a whole stone in 6 weeks. Sometimes if we have had good losses, our bodies just say "Whoah, can I catch my breath?" Maybe that is what yours is doing.
I keep a record of my calorie intake but maybe recording what I actually eat may help. I started getting off the bus early and walk the last 3/4 mile to work. I must admit I'm feeling better for that too. Good luck on your journey too and thanks for the support
