WK5: I thought I'd be so good ...

Hello there, I hope you are doing ok?

I thought I would be so good this week. My husband was away for a week, team visit and at a convention in Orlando. I had visions of me being so healthy and wise, so healthy infact that I'd look different on his return. However I felt my evenings were too quiet, and lonely, so I picked at bits - watched TV - picked again and went to bed far too late. I had every intension of being a 'star' but that bright light kind of dwindled. I have no idea how I did it, but I still managed to lose 1lb. Maybe it was playing with the grandchildren, or the walks in the park ... it certainly wasn't from sitting in a dark room in front of the TV :)

New week, and hubby is back ... then I face another battle. We are away on holiday for a week soon. Oh well, my challenge will be waiting for me, and so will all those swims in the pool?!

Hanging on in there, and sending you smiles, Sue :)

I know that feeling - I am much better behaved when I am being watched and feeling less lonely. Hang on it there.

Hi suecblue. I always find that things don't go to plan when my husband is away too. I think it is all the extra time I seem to have and I always go to bed too late as well. If I am doing the maths correctly it looks like you have nearly lost a stone - fantastic.  Thats a great loss. Hope you have a great holiday and enjoy all those swims in the pool :)

Hello

I am the same when hubby is away, I try to keep busy but struggle eating alone 😕 So well done on losing 😊

Have a good holiday, I managed to lose a small amount by just thinking twice about desserts and extra helpings and walking lots 😊 Still had a fab holiday but without the guilt! Lol 😊

Good luck! Almost lost your first stone 😊

It's funny, I thought it was taking a while to lose a stone - but, it's true, I'm almost a stone off. Now that is good :)

Thank you
