Food for thot
Yes, I cut out refined sugars before I began the diet and it really has helped me with cravings. I used to have a LOT of sweet treats every day, it couldn't have been doing my body any good at all.
Chocolate cravings can hit at odd moments; I believe it is definitely linked to your emotional state, and not just a physical need. Mostly I don't think about it, but nearly succumbed whilst queuing in a shop recently - almost responding to a pleasure memory! Fortunately I was not alone and left the vicinity very quickly.
In the past, just buying the chocolate treat has satisfied some of my emotional need, without even eating it. Trouble is - I then have to find someone to give it to before I succumb to it's tantalising call...
Well done, sounds like you have overcome that craving, changing your diet does that
Well done just shows its mind over matter when it comes to food choices keep up the good work you'll get there , just wish it was me I just can't get motivated just now need a good kick up me bum I thinks 🙄
A healthy eating plan delivers so much more than weight loss! You must feel liberated.!
Yes. I'm surprised too that this week's menus haven't made me head for the sweet section, or even the breakfast cereals. Cutting back on my favourite carbs and most of my endless snacking on fruit has left me with a little urge to sweetness towards the end of the day, but a berry and sugarfree jelly pud has kept me on track. Plus the milk and sweetener in my final of the otherwise black coffees. I am also managing 3 pints of water over the day, and that is a big change for me, so that might be part of it too. We're all really starting to make progress with the habits we need to change, aren't we?
