Hi Diana,
I hope you enjoyed your lunch with your son yesterday - I know you were going to Covent Garden - I bet that was really great!
Great that you had the conversation about edible presents - I did the same thing recently regarding Easter gifts - don't want any more temptation around than is necessary. I found that my relatives were actually completely 'on board' with it, as they are also thinking of their own wishes not to over-consume over Easter. So it was good!
Hope you are having a good week and hope you have a lovely weekend.
Lowcal
Lowcal thanks my meal out was lovely, good portions too, I had sandwich later on........
Been out and had cake today, fist time this week, I'm on track and happy !
Sometimes we need to remind ourselves not everything fab is food based, off to cook soon as too many Kate shifts next werk
I told my children, siblings and hubby no chocolates for any occassion, all bar one person kept their word but my sister bought me a large gift bag full of marshmellows, maltesers, haribo's etc for Christmas annoyed was not the word.
Well they got put to one side and yesterday it was her birthday we bought her a present and then gave her back the bag still full and she had no idea it was a re-gift.
