So thrilled that you all managed to clock up some steps yesterday in spite of the awful weather. Well except for Lucca who was last seen discussing the Californian grape varieties with Ricky!!
I was at 40th birthday party last night and danced and danced and danced. Clocked up 9.6kms - woohoo!
Today we are on the island of Sakhalin enjoying the nature at its finest. Lots of hiking, seal watching and scuba diving.
Wow, that picture of Sakhalin is really beautiful. I'm definitely looking forward to our stay there, all that hiking, seal watching and scuba diving. An active day for all. Will pop back later with my kms.
Lowcal
Oh no - I've been named and shamed in the main post - I feel so bad You just wait 'til you see my kms for today !! (And even Mr Lucca has been busy !!)
Really? Wow I did most of it at a gym session I had as part of a spa day gift from my daughter - chuffed I am š The machine was notching up kms not steps !
WTG you! That's a fantastic achievement! No wonder you're chuffed!
Thank you very much Beryl's daughter!
Hi, Sorry for not responding sooner I am on holiday and this is the first time I am able to log my miles. Friday I did 6.5 km, Saturday was 12 km and Sunday 6.5 km
I'm only up to 45 strokes at a time - it's a number too small to record. It's a total of about 1/2K/day! I shall keep adding to it slowly, maybe one day I'll manage to row all the way across the room!
Woohoo Liz! That must have been some party! It sounds as if you had a fantastic time. I hope you remembered to be cautious with the calorie consumption, don't forget it's weigh-in monday tomorrow and you don't want Lowcal on your case!
Oh, I'm loving the look and sound of Sakhalin, it definitely sounds my cup of tea. What a clever old stick you are finding it for us
What a day today has been, weatherwise. I dragged my OH and grandson on a walk with gale force winds, rain, hail, sleet and snow! What a fantastic supporters club they are for me!
Ok - kms for today. After our disastrous day yesterday when we were ultra lazy, we have attempted to redeem ourselves today
Mr L - 6.2k run + 3.7k dog walk = 9.9k
Me - 10.3k run + 9.7k dog walks = 20k
I donned my waterproof trousers and went for a 6k walk just in order to get my totals up this afternoon ! Hope you all realise the dedication I have to the cause and they'll be less of this sarcasm directed towards me in future
Ha Ha ! At least we are making our totals up on two legs - none of this namby pamby pedal assisted stuff
Anyway, judging by the smell of deep heat emanating from Mr L's direction I think he feels the 6.2k was a run too far at the moment with his bad leg !!
Don't know, it's chucking it down out there at the mo, so doubt I will get out for my run tonight š Suspect it will be a similar level to yesterday.
6.25 km for me today. I walked / ran in the park and than when I came home I remembered the steps so I hope it is accurate but tomorrow I will try to behave.
5245 steps today, woke up to a day off, lovely sunshine, and ANOTHER flippin cold, tight chest sore throat runny nose etc. Only just got over the last one !! Good job there's plenty of travellers so you're not relying on me for many ks. I've signed up for a mindfullness course starts tomorrow. Thought if this is going to be a repeat of last years back to back infections from Christmas to Easter and I'm going to be curled under a blanket, I'd like to do something constructive - well it's more productive than iPad jigsaws lol āļøš¤
Thanks Moreless. Last year I was diagnosed with an immune deficiency, thankfully the least serious type, but it explains why I pick up so many bugs. I work in an NHS community team, and at the moment all the patients and the staff are poorly! āļø
The time in my life when I was my most ill, was when I was working in a hospital!
Fingers crossed that you don't just keep passing the bugs back and fore and that you're on the mend pronto

Hi there not been able to do much this week as still have stitches and I am sure fitbit is not recording properly had it on my wrist and figures seem too high compared with on my jeans pocket ,it is the clip type, so what I did sat was walked 2.7 miles according to rnun keeper yesterday sun walked about 2 miles with friend at leisurely pace as she cant walk very wel and it was freezing. Hope to get swimming today. good luck everyone feel great being fitter and the sun is shining wind is very strong was hard to walk sat like climbing along a flat mountain!!
Sunday 2.3 km's and 2 boxes packed, and 2 bags sorted for recycling!! Am making a dent in it now š also dare I say I think I'm feeling a bit better!! Still very crackly chest and pains but not so bad- woohoo hallybloomingloolia š
Well done you I still think that 1k spent packing boxes when feeling ill should attract a bonus kilometre!!. Plus extra kilmetre for using very long words like "woohoo hallybloomingloolia"
