I've been thinking about this challenge! (See previous thread) im currently 68.3kg and would like to lose 3 kg by Easter. My issue is - what to have as reward? the Easter bunny looks great but I'm trying to go sugar free! Any ideas for Easter season treat?

Easter Bunny challenge
Hi Ceriandblue,
You're right, it would be good to think of a reward. I think I might buy a piece of clothing - maybe a new dress! I don't wear dresses or skirts very often, but it would be nice to change that and enjoy wearing a dress at my new weight - once I finally achieve it. I really hope I'll be enjoying clothes shopping for a new dress just after Easter Sunday!

My reward will be a holiday in France (week before Easter) and an exchange of success stories with my sisters (who are also losing weight - successfully). Mind you I get that whether I achieve my goal or not. I'll just be happy - won't need a reward.
I'm going sugar free too so my treat will probably be some new trainers or boots but i do like clothes to but don't want to buy to many till ive lost a bit more weight.
What sort of thing do you like? maybe buy something new for your house or get your hair done its whatever you would think was a treat that doesnt contain sugar! x
there are some good suggestions
just to throw into the mix - manicure, massage, treatment type thing, hotel stay or weekend away? new outfit (even if its new gym gear), a show/theatre, some sort of sport activity? i.e. ice skating, swimming?
What is this Easter Bunny Challenge pray tell?!
My reward will firstly be re-acquainting myself with all my lovely thin clothes. My second reward will be bagging up all my fat clothes and sending them to the charity shop.
Then I will have a nice cold glass of expensive champagne. Maybe 2 but no more than 2.
And as I sip, I will let out a contended sigh. 😊
It was posted by sueper yesterday. A chocolate bunny reward to keep her on track. Looks good! But 'No' to the chocolate!!
Hi Ceri. I had a certain loss in mind for xmas but as soon as I set a certain target loss it went to pot. Hence the bunny reward when I hit the stone. I did this last year when someone gave me an unexpected choc bunny last year and it really worked.
I think it is great to have lots of mini rewards as we go along including a fab pair of boots when I lost 50lb.
So maybe treat yourself to something you wouldn't normally have maybe a nice bottle of something be it alcohol or perfume.
My friend buys herself a pandora charm every time she loses a stone
OK... so what was I thinking?! Easter is not that far away!
I will not have reached my goal by then. Doh!
So some re-adjustment of reward required!
Do you think I could lose half a stone by Easter? That is by my reckoning 6 weeks away? I think so?!
So assuming I do - I have asked my OH if he will support me buying a new fitbit alta!! Have you seen them? LUSH! What a reward that will be.
If OH declines well....being half a stone lighter will give me access to more of my wardrobe and some fat clothes will go...so that will be a mini celebration in itself!
Cool idea. I'm still thinking! Good luck with your targets and enjoy the bunny. (I'm sure you'll make it.
Hi again Ceriandblue,
I know you're still thinking of your reward. Other things I've thought of include: a recipe book; a magazine; a pampering session (like a massage or pedicure or similar); a trip to a place you've always fancied visiting; a book you've fancied getting; or tickets to the cinema or theatre. Sue's mentioned the Pandora charms that her friend buys, maybe there's a piece of jewellery you fancy for yourself.
I really like Sue's ideas of the mini rewards leading up to a larger reward, as it sounds very motivating.

Thanks to everybody for the ideas. I think you're right - mini rewards building to something bigger are a great motivator. I might go with a pretty money box and work towards something to wear!
A bunny money box?
Make sure it is see through so you can see the pounds built up
