The last ten days have been no fun, bi polar and then my hormones again, 4lbs on in a week, yes I knew it wasn't really real.

I expect to crap and crave sugar, I expected about 1/2lb gain, today all is well, finally, just started taking maca root to fix my hormones?!

So it was tough seeing you all weigh in on Monday

Hi Diana,

I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough 10 days - no fun, your hormones up and down, and a weight gain - that is a horrible set of factors, and I don't blame you for feeling fed-up.

Sounds like you're feeling a bit better today, which is good! Do you think the Maca root is working? I don't really know anything about what Maca root is, but whatever it is, I hope you find it helpful.

You should have joined us for the Monday weigh-in - I know you joined us on 11th January, but didn't see you on Monday, and I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today - but maybe we could have cheered you up a bit if you'd popped in.

I really hope the rest of the week will be better for you Diana.

Take care,

Lowcal :-)

Hi Diana,

Glad you only gained 0.75 pound, that's not too bad at all. Hope you feel better from your cold very soon. Keep warm and hydrated, and look after yourself.

Argh, you have my sympathies, but well done on getting back on track and not giving up!

Speedy recovery Diana - and glad it's turning out to not be as bad as it seemed. Look back on what you've achieved overall. These bad patches are quite small when you put them in perspective. You're in the maintaining phase now, even if you are a few lbs off your ideal weight. You've achieved so much. Hope you can start to feel good about this all again very soon :)

Thanks Ruth, yes I did think in the depths of it all, to be this overweight was my normal a few months back, just changed clothes, so things feel tighter when I gain now.

Makes me glad those pounds are gladly gone for good
