If like me you love your stir fry noodles or spaghetti, as do the kids, and make a bolognese weekly, I have a new food to share. I found Butternut squash noodles from M&S. At £1 a pack and only 35 calories a portion they are brilliantl They take the place of spaghetti in my bowl which along with the home made less fat bolognese sauce on the recipe page gives a delicious meal without the calories from the big carbs.

Food of the week
Had these last week. They are very nice.
Brillant thank you for that going to try themxx
Going to have to try these too. Love spaghetti bolognese and use quorn mince to avoid any extra fat - other than that in the low fat grated cheese I add!
Thanks Suzymac
If you don't want to spend the money and haven't got a spiraliser to make your own, try shredding in a food processor or grating on the biggest grater. I have long added carrot and courgette to half a portion of noodles or spaghetti. Not as low as replacing all the pasta, but a nice compromise both for taste and saving the kcals. I tend to chop my butternut squash into chips or chunks and microwave then fry in spray or very little oil. It often replaces potato when I am short on kcals for the next meal.
These are lovely, sainsburys do them too if you don't have an M&S nearby ☀️
Tesco do them too
Amazing - thanks for sharing!
I've got some in the fridge! Gonna try them tonight! Haven't looked how to cook them yet tho! 😊
