Wow! What did you do? Top tips? This used to be what I could lose in the first week or so of a diet, but at 51 seems to take a lot longer.Well done! Inspiring.

Hi Suzy, I'd put on 2st & just felt determined & in the mood. I'm eating chicken, fish, pasta , vegetables & drinking lots of water & making sure I don't skip meals. As you say I think it comes off quicker at the start.

Top 10 tips to avoid being thirsty

1 drink water

2 drink more water

3 drink even more water

4 drink MORE water

5 drink a swimming pool of water

6 drink a lake of water

7 drink a sea of water (preferably the Red Sea as it tastes the nicest

8 drink the an ocean of water

9 consume ALL of the worlds water

10 realise you are Cthulhu and have risen, it's time to drink all the planets water, starting with Mars.
