I am on the second week and definitely finding it harder, I am sticking to my calories but my eating feels more sporadic and ive just eaten a bag of giant buttons without thinking!!

How do you all pull it back on days like this? :-)

My secret is my bed is a divan, chocolat is put right at the back of a drawer on the other side of the bed, by the time I go and get it don't want it. Try something super sweet like marshmellows you can only have 1 or 2 a day or grapes. If you convince yourself you can't have it you want it more. Allow yourself to slip once in a while but take a couple out of the bag then put away.

Thank you Gottodothis,

I am going to try and put it behind me and take your advice and have small treats other wise i start to feel like I want everything.

I have to refresh my thinking as i don`t want to waste a week, i did rejoin a gym today so my motivation must be there somewhere! Think i felt super tired the last two days and so eat to get the energy .

You don't. You draw a line under it and move on.

Losing weight is not easy but the rewards of having done it both for your health and in how great the success makes you feel makes it well worth it.

I try to think of it not as me depriving myself of things but as being good to myself by making myself healther and fitter

Most of the time that works 😃

Thank you annde

I definitly need to work on my frame of mind and as you say just move on and start fresh, it is a great way to look at things and that I am working on a healthy me :-)

However bad it may seem, it's only bad if you continue. Its definitely all about continuing as you were. Get back on the wagon as quickly as you can. And build more small treats into your days, very dark chocolate, small cereal bars, nuts and raisins, cereal bars, exotic fruit e.g. mango, melon, raspberries. Good luck with the new gym membership too :)

Ruth always has really good ideas. One was to put homemade flapjacks into the freezer...cut up into small pieces....have to wait for them to defrost!

It is great having people to chat to on here as it seems to pull me back into healthy mode. In the past I have tried so many diets but I always seem to be all or nothing and once i go off I find it feels like failing so I am trying to snap out of that thought process and look at it as a lifestyle change, I think the weighing weekly at endless weight watchers made me feel if i didnt lose weight i failed so actually got fatter!!!

Thank you again :-)
