New boots! 😀

Two Christmases ago my husband bought me a gorgeous pair of boots. Sadly I couldn't get my legs into them so had to return them and we ordered a stretchy pair. My goal from then would be one day I would buy the same boots again when I had lost weight and hopefully be able to get into them. Well I have done it! And I LOVE my new boots! 😀

I'm so with you on those boots - love a pair of knee-high boots. I have also been unhappy trying to find ones that would go round my calfs. Hope you get lots of great wear out of them. Jeggings are great, also a little flash of brightly coloured tights with a knee length skirt works a treat too. Enjoy

Thanks flossie358, they are lovely to wear and do make you feel good. The next goal after hopefully another stone loss will be a nice, bright winter coat that doesn't make me look like an elephant like previous ones have!

Inspiring - there are some boots in the back of the wardrobe... I'd forgotten about them! They are too tight in the calf department to wear comfortably - I'm on week 2 so I'll be doing my best to follow in your footsteps!!!

This post made me smile so much. I love that you made a pact with yourself that when you got fitter and slimmer, you would go back to the shop and buy them. You must have been grinning from ear to ear when they fitted. And even though they are jeggings they do fit nicely in your boots.

Thanks Lizzy, yes it was lovely to fit into them and awful the first time round so am feeling really good. Hoping now to slim into a lovely new colourful winter coat if I can lose another stone and then final goal will be a dramatic haircut! Watch this space!
