Wednesday weigh in - are you ready?
Hi Hanna, always better than we think ...good luck!
Hi Hannalou
This is my first ever post I also started on a Wednesday and I was hesitating about changing my weighing day to a Monday just to join the other thread!!!
Wednesday 2nd Sept 196 lbs
Wednesday 9th Sept 194.5 lbs
Wednesday 16th Sept 192.5 lbs
I have only been two weeks into the programme and I absolutely cannot believe my eyes. Seriously. I'm also due to do W2 R3 of the Couch to 5K programme today and I cannot believe the changes in my self confidence, in my body and it looks as if losing weight is a bonus as opposed to being the main aim. I realise that I was yearning for a healthy lifestyle but I never knew I did. I'm actually looking forward to eating my salads!! I'm actually looking forward to running now! It's just unbelievable if you knew me beforehand. And reading this forum has also helped me so much, as I haven't told anyone I've started this programme but people have started to notice! It's just crazy how simple it is, I feel really guilty not having tried before.
I hope your weighing will be ok today and don't worry too much :).

I wish I could like your post 10 times as it was so amazing and inspirational to read!!! You are doing such a great job! I need to start couch to 5k I just find it difficult with work and everything else to fit in! I lost around this week so I am fine with this! Keep up your great work and welcome to the Wednesday weigh in!
3 days ago I was 92.8kg (205lbs) today 90.5kg. But I'm well aware it's normal to go this quick at the start. Water is going down, as carbs and salt have been cut down rapidly.
Hi hannalou, well another pound of unwanted energy burnt off...I'm going to start the 5K when another half stone has gone...protect my knees abit.well done you with your pound...well we'll just keep on keeping on!
Well done you! I want to start couch to 5k as well but not sure where I can run, is it good to run on roads? I am not sure really!!! Xx
Thank you for your nice replies Hannalou.
I bought a treadmill just to be able to start Couch to 5K because I am way too shy to be seen in sports gear outside of my house. I found a very good one on Amazon for £139 and it does the job brilliantly. I bought it with AMAZON PRIME NOW app and as it was my first purchase with them I got £20 off. Might be worth a check.
I think running on normal roads should be fine. If you live near a small park you could try in there too. x
