Hi. I tried following the 12 week NHS plan but failed miserably! I ate way to many calories and then stopped counting...

Now I have been on the 8 week "I quit sugar" plan. I have tried to cut out sugar and am filling up on good things.

any one else doing the "I quit sugar" plan?

Hi ErnaOz,

Good luck with your goals to quit sugar.

I've not actually tried that plan, but I do try to reduce my sugar intake as much as possible, and I find that eating whole foods rather than processed ones wherever possible definitely helps reduce the sugar load of a meal.

Years ago, I would have 2 spoonfuls of sugar in my tea and coffee, but nowadays I don't add any, and I find I enjoy the taste of tea and coffee.

How are you finding your new plan so far? I hope it goes really well, and I hope you achieve your goals.

Lowcal :-)

Thanks lowcal:) Its been a good week but quite diffucult with kids and especially because I have fed them so much sugar in the past!

I have not seen a decrease in the numbers on the scale but I think it wil come in the next few weeks :)
