2 weeks off work and I intend to use it well. Feel free to ignore me but I shall be posting all manner of tedious inconsequentia to help keep me on track. I had a slobby weekend but stuck to me cals. Yesterday, I had about 1100 cals. Today 1000 (and not one more) cals and a 3-mile walk and a 50-min workout. I know how to live...

Excellent , enjoy! I have just had a week just like that. Highly recommended!
Enjoy. I always do more exercise and steps when not at work. I'm loving my fitness class. What's your favourite activity?
2 weeks off and very wise to use this time to get you in even more shape I am off for 6 weeks in the summer hols and can not wait to hit the gym during that time. Here's to you and your two weeks off. Enjoy it
I know lots of people say they love the exercise but I really hate it. Saying that I can't believe that the sedentary, obese 57 year old who gasped for breath climbing stairs of one year ago now gets up at 5 am four times a week to complete a rigorous 50 minute workout of interval and weight training. Don't mind the weights too much as it is a bit of a challenge but HATE the cardio interval training. I am seeing fantastic results though and still amazed by my own self discipline which at one time did not exist.
Have changed my lifestyle completely and have no fear, that I will slip back into my old ways. Just the feeling of having energy and a lack of aches and pains which I thought was down to my age and which no longer exist is enough to keep me hard at the workouts. Still did all my workouts while on a two week holiday in Madeira.
Downside is losing 10 inches from chest and waist has cost me a fortune in clothes. Now have a really small wardrobe as the weight loss continues and fed up of throwing hardly worn clothes away..
Never been one for enjoying exercise myself Andy except walking. Discovered I do enjoy the rowing machine at the gym though and thinking of pumping up the tyres on the bike I bought 6 years ago and rode once!! I loved cycling as a child/teen, but even with a gel seat found it very uncomfortable as a 254lb adult. I lost 42lb 5 years ago when my marriage ended ( not seeking sorrow, we get on fabby now as friends). but put on 18lb again over these last 4 years. Have lost 7 of those regained pounds in the last 3 weeks and decided that when I get to the 200lb mark, the bike is going to be persevered with.
Post yourself prolifically, lol. I am loving reading peoples posts, wish I had discovered this site years ago!!!!! Have a superduper break from work hun x
