I am new to this and am just starting to try and solve my weight problem. I am going to work out a meal plan and work out the calories so that I am only eating 1,400 per day. I am also going to try and do 10,000 steps per day. I need to lose about 4 stone I have calculated that this would take me about 6 months. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I have no problem sticking to 1400 calories - it's walking 10,000 steps I can't do! Just to keep trying!
I agree about having a meal plan. I've found it really helps me to keep to my weight loss regime if i'm prepared. Plus I can instantly see what and where I can fit in as snacks.
The other big plus is that it helps avoid food waste which is one of my big bugbears.
Hi i noticed youve followed me, i started on monday....however i have about 6 stone to lose! all seems well at the minute. Did a zumba class for an hour this morning, and started back on the C25k on monday ( ive done it before).....its just in the evening i feel like eating!
Good Luck - I have a bad back so I am unable to do zumba although I would love to be able to. I have 4 stones I have been over weight for a while now but have been in denial. I have dieted before but only ever got off a stone and then put it back on probably quicker than I took it off. It is nice to be able to follow someone with a similar goal
