Lack of motivation

Yesterday I had a really horrible argument with my Dad which made me feel very sad and crappy and in the past I would drink my sorrows away or go and eat all the junk food I can find. But you will be happy to know I did NOT do that, I was more sensible with my eating and also I managed to do a great interval training circuit session just now with high intensity cardio intervals and toning exercises just now. Life may be up and down but I am going to try and stay on track the best I can

I'm sorry you had a row with your dad, falling out with family is always very upsetting. You have a positive attitude though hun so I'm sure you will succeed. Concentrate on looking after yourself 😊 exercise is a great stress buster so doing a workout instead was a good move! Keep making those healthy choices and you will be fine! 🌸

I find it hard staying positive but I've come to the conclusion that if I keep telling myself the positives it will reinforce it and make it happen 😊 all OK with me, bit disappointed about my 1lb again this morning, but nothing I can do except carry on and hope I lose it next week!! 🌸

Life is up and down, it is impossible to stay positive all the time hun. It just shows we are only humans and we are allowed to have a bad day. Don't worry about the 1lb gain, you will lose it before you know it. Just keep up the great work

:-)

Any argument is awful but when it's with someone close it's even more upsetting. My mum knows just what buttons to push with me. It goes to show you do have some control with emotional eating (and drinking!) and when you wake up in the morning you'll feel good that you didn't just give in. Proud of you! :)
