thought id join, feeling like i need a little bit of weight off im active sometimes but its the times im not active i gain mostly ,i like to eat more than i should especially chocolate ,ive had a look at some of the calories in foods on the calculator and was a little shocked in how many calories i probably do eat

You've taken a step in the right direction. You can still have chocolate - just less of it and less often! I treat myself to the occasional "Freddo" bar and with time have found it satisfied my chocolate craving. I used to have chocolate every day but now it's only once or twice a week. I've managed to lose over a stone by reducing my portion sizes, exercising more, finding lower calories replacements (e.g. Walkers 'French Fries' instead of crisps), snacking on fruit and raw veg rather than sweets, and still allowing myself a little treat every now and again.

Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. You'll find many motivational posts here! Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!

thanks for the tip,im looking forward to using the app you recommended i feel its time i started to count the calories i eat

and cut down on my food intake
