The nhs 12 week plan is so easy to follow and i think you will find alot of people on this site that will agree that its a great starting block. Download an app like myfitnesspal to help track your calories really makes life easier good luck
Welcome, I hope you find what you need in this community. Start by dowloading an app on your phone to keep track of calories (Fat Secret, My Fitness Pal...), it's a great aid! Good luck!
Hi Michelle, and welcome to the forum! As fibronfedup said, the plan is really easy to follow, and the calorie counting app is my new best friend lol! This site is a real source of motivation and inspiration to me too so come on every so often and read through the posts.
The other tip that's useful is to break your goal down onto smaller goals, keeps the motivation going as you make those achievements.

I'm just reaching the end of week 7 and have lost 1 stone so far, I have amazed myself by sticking to the plan - like the others have said MFP is brilliant for tracking calories and keeping on top of portion control π
As far as sticking to it, I have come to see it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet, seeing the weight come off is so rewarding. Good luck on your journey πΈ
