Hi, I've been healthy eating for over 3 months now and all of a sudden I'm getting hungry all the time again. I had this when I first cut my calories but it went away after a week or 2.
I'm eating about 1500- 1600 calories a day so don't think it's my calorie intake.
Anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

What kind of foods are you eating? Is your diet balanced? Do you get enough protein, fat, fiber? Eating sugary foods will make you feel hungrier.
An altered sleep/work schedule will definitely make you hungry. There are two hormones leptin and ghrelin. Ghrelin stimulates appetite. Leptin affects your weight. Both are altered when you do not sleep properly.
Yeah iv not changed my eating habits. It just started the last week or so. I eat soup, baked potatoes. I normally have fish or homemade curries and casseroles for dinner.
Iv had some broken sleep lately as my little one is teething but again, it's something iv dealt with the whole time iv been trying to lose weight
I don't know ???? It could be what I call 'kick back' ! It's almost a rebellion, that's how I see it, it's like the body or mind thinks 'ok I've let you have your way with this healthy eating lark for a bit now let's get back to our lovely unhealthy food; you know you want to !!!!!! ' we're trying to de-rail ourselves, for what reason? Who knows ? When this strikes me it's a right worry, trying to fight yourself.......... I do several things, bulk up more on baked potatoes, beans anything bulky ( bear in mind your only doing this till you get over the sticky patch ) up my calories a bit, some people find this too scary but if it staves off 'total breakdown' till your back on track I'm fine with that, and thirdly........ hang on for grim death !!!!!!! It does pass too !!!
I go through phases when im really hungry still (on week 22) i normally try to find ways to cope with it, or change something im eating to a higher protein type food to keep me fuller longer. I find drinking lots of water helps, or chewing gum. Another way i combat the cravings is to do some cleaning, normally with the smell of cleaning chemicals around i get over the cravings unless, im actually hungry and not just wanting to snack.
