do we run every other day or have one two day gap to keep weeks even ?

as you like. I do my runs Mon, Wed, Fri, and have the other days off. This is what fits best with my schedule. If you need more time to recover, it will be ok to have two days off too (eg if you are just starting and the exercise is too much still).
