Hi 'Concerned' - many thanks for informative guidance.

Don't cut your calories too much. If you continue to feel very tired it might be a good idea to talk to your doctor, in case you have something like aenemia.

By doing the exercise! Seriously, for most people, even most health conditions, exercise will help with tiredness.

You could start with 'Random Acts of Fitness' - that's really how I started. I do have a health condition characterised by a poor response to exercise (but of course that didn't mean I was let off getting overweight or risks of other health problems) so I had to be very careful but I knew something had shifted so I could do *something* - so my first action was parking at the far end of the car park when going to the supermarket.

As Concerned says, something you like is a good place to start. Just getting outside is helpful. If you have an mp3 player of any sort (eg on your phone) you could have a look at NHS Couch to 5K and NHS Strength and Flexibility podcasts. These are useful because they help rein in any tendency to do too much, feel awful and give up, and they explicitly say no more than every other day (You can alternate the two... but as you are starting from a position of tiredness, it would seem a better idea not to begin both programmes at the same time)

I agree that everyone's different. If you find something that works for you then stick with it.

I take Phen 375, which is a diet supplement. I take that and a B+ Complex multivitamin. I noticed an increase in energy and started losing weight too. If you want I can send you the web address for this.

Best of luck.

I hope this helps.
