ok....so I am really terrible with food as I am very picky how do I start getting more active and eating better with a shift pattern job?

try the NHS C25K running program. I would download the podcasts rather than use the app.

I'm not sure if you are actually overweight and seeking to lose some weight or if you are just feeling that you need some better nutrition information.

I found the nutracheck app amazing... so easy to keep track of what you eating, how many calories and can be done on the move too
