Hi Gappette, I am following a low carbohydrate diet.

I try to ensure that my fast burning period is as long as possible. I try to eat my last meal before 8:00 p.m. When I wake up, I try to stay as long as I can before eating my first meal. I make sure that my first meal is very rich in protein. Usually, I exercise on mornings, so I make sure that this first meal have enough carbohydrate to use to generate my energy needs to use during my work out and during the most productive part of my day. Using I eat only two meals, at present, I tried to have very little carbohydrate at my evening meal because when I go to sleep, I do not need the same energy load as during the daytime.

I would now have meat or fish and vegetables with a small amount of carbohydrates. To stop my craving, during the morning I would eat some fruit. However, I think only eating fruit as a snack sets up my system for more cravings. So in the morning I only eat fruit so that my body can use it as energy. In the afternoon or evening, I would used a teaspoon (at a time) of seeds and nuts with water to put an end to my craving. I have an empty ice cream container, I mixed 20% pumpkin, 20% sesame, 20% sunflower, 10%walnut, 10% cashew, 10% almond.

I exercise about 6 days a week. I tried to get between 6 and 8 hours sleep. I do my bible study everyday. I smile often and enjoy the moments of everyday.

At present, I think I have a period to lose some weigh then my body will behave like a little girl and have a crying fit because it thinks that I'm starving it. Then my weigh will stabilized for about 8 weeks before it allows me to shift so more weigh.

I have to patient, I have 21 to lose but I know my body will give me hell to get there but I am patient and along with my life style changes, I will get there.
