Interested to notice that the 2nd week has exercise as its focus, as I have found it challenging to build more activity into my day during this first week.. I didn't make the 150 min target last week, but hope to do better in week 2. Thanks for your support on the forum....

Good News this morning! At the end of my first week I've lost 2lbs - not a lot but enough to keep me motivated for the next step...

Thank you, Lowcal - I appreciate your encouraging response. I'm expecting next week to be hard work because I'm running out of excuses to avoid the 150 mins activity!! But needs must, so will have a go.... Hope you too have a good week....
Start your exercise slowly - it caninclude housework - yuck, gardening - great and just walking, going up stairs etc. I do the 150 most days, but I only sit down to eat - less than previously, and sleep or drive.
Thanks, Windswept1. It will make a difference if I can count housework and gardening, although I don't do either to - shall we say- excess! I plan, though, to build in two swimming sessions this week for starters.... Have a good week....
