whats an ideal breakfast to help start the motabolisim?

Yes, I would like to know this too I vary between eggs for protein and porridge for complex carbs but which is best I wonder? I find the porridge more satisfying from a comfort food way. I do feel sluggish after though. Eggs I find keep me alert and full the hunger from eating protein is more controlled and easier to live with but I still crave porridge.
