I find foodfocus to be very good. It logs your exercise too.
I should have said that this is a free Uk site, so most of the foods listed are available here. I found that some of the American sites don't list our supermarket brands. Hope this is of help to you.
I use myfitnesspal and find that it works really well. You can also track exercise in mfp and you can be friends with people and see their progress and they can see yours. I find it helps to have a weight loss buddy in both weight loss and an exercise buddy. Take the time to create your recipes so you wont be guessing and estimating when you cook.
weightlossresources.co.uk is an excellent site for keeping track of diet and exercise along with full nutritional data of almost any food you can think of. put in your daily food intake and it will give you the breakdown of the amount of carbs, fat and protein consumed. I find it really helpful for working out my last meal of the day as I can see immediately how much I've eaten and how much I've got left of my calorie count and whether I need to up one category to get the food balance right. It does cost but not an enormous amount of money and far cheaper than going to group weight loss session. you get a free 24 hour trial so worth a go if you think it would help.
Thanks everyone. I shall investigate
