Hair, hair, and more hair!!!!!

I have come to terms with having hairy feet, and now even my neck and chin.

I am used to shaving, its part of my life now.

BUT, now my chest, my boobs 😭 I have a hairy cleavage :(

I don't want to shave my chest, because I know i will have to keep it up once I start.

I asked my partner if he had noticed, he said he has. I asked if he wanted me to shave, or if it bothered him.

He said it doesn't bother him and I shouldn't shave unless i want to shave if it bothers me.

Is this normal, I feel like I'm becoming hairier every day.

Any tips? How to minimise or why this is happening?

Hi, same problem and the same hair pattern. Had a blood test and definitely have too much testosterone. Going back for more detailed blood tests to determine why and then a treatment regime to try to deal with it.

I agree with PcosPrincess re doing what feels right for you but maybe also check this with your GP especially if the hair growth is getting worse. Take care

Hey Miss B

You’re not alone. Sending you lots of love. I know the struggles and anxiety being hairy causes. I find my confidence is at an all time low if I don’t remove the hair but that’s just me. I had laser hair at sk:n which was expensive but did massively help. That was around 3 years ago and I’ve been relatively hair free until recently when I could do with another course - it’s nothing like it was but have noticed it coming back on my face. If laser isn’t an option I’d recommend anything but shaving. My hair gets so so much worse when I shave. Lots of ingrown hairs and gets so much more coirs

Hadn’t finished and hit post sorry!!

So much more coarse that was supposed to say. As painful as it is I’d say wax if you’re removing it.

Lots of love and remember you’re not alone in your hairy ness and obviously have a supporting boyfriend. Xx

I have the same 😔 but would agree with your partner about not needing to do it for him. My hubby has always said the same and we've been together just over 20 years. I do get my chest waxed when I feel like I need to, I do occasionally shave it too, but that does seem to make some hairs coarser but not all.I have also had laser done on some parts of my body and it does make it better, in some areas I have barely any hair left and in others the hair is a lot finer.

As others have said do what feels right for you xx
