PCOS?

Hi, I recently had a laparoscopy and have cysts on one ovary. My periods are very bad, extremely bad, have been since age 10, used to be irregular when I was younger, but they come regularly enough now. I'm 28. After the laparoscopy, a doc said the ovary looks polycycstic, but that I probably don't have pcos yet as I don't fit all the criteria, they said my testosterone appears normal. He asked do I have any extra hair or acne, told him I seemed to develop acne about 7 months but we didn't discuss any further. The GP confirmed yesterday that I have acne, and with the acne and cysts, it's possible PCOS. I hate this feeling of not knowing. Nobody can confirm whether I have PCOS for sure. Has anyone got a diagnosis of PCOS with just cysts and acne?

Thanks

I didnt have bad excessive hair, ache nor was overweight, and docs used to dismiss that I didn't have the symptoms, but I did have cysts on my ovaries and I didn't have periods for years. I think you may have it.

Look at what helps PCOS, because most things like keeping a healthy weight, it good for health in general not just PCOS. The pill helps if you are not ttc.
