Hi Pinky,

I took cyclizine too, until about week 18 I think. It stopped me from actually being sick but didn’t help much with the nausea.

I didn’t try anything else but was told there are other options if you don’t get on with it xx

Yep hopefully. It definitely made the difference between me being able to get on with my day or not!

Another thing I would say is make sure you take it on schedule. I would skip a dose or take it late if I didn’t feel too bad but you pay for it later! Xx

I get a lot of nausea from IBS and Endometriosis (I know not quite the same) but I found that ginger and mint teas really help. There’s also some sweets you can buy called gin gins that have saved me whilst travelling.

A colleague of mine also used anti travel sickness wrist bands in her early pregnancy and said they helped!

Hi Pinky,

I was super sick from 6-11 weeks it was awful, I'm 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant now and I'm feeling much better, tablets are a big no no for me I dont like taking any sort of tablet so I just had to deal with the sickness and it was awful but it does get better and I hope they work for you, i used essential oils, ginger nut biscuits and made sure I ate frequently but small portions to help get rid of sickness.

I’m still taking cyclizine and prochlorperazine and I’m 23 weeks tomorrow. I’m still sick at least two or three times a day, this is much better than pre-16 weeks when I was vomiting constantly. They’ve told me I’m probably going to be sick the whole way now. Oh well. Xx
