Hair loss cures
My hair used to be beautiful long 2 years ago almost hip length. I don't have any miracle cure, think I've tried just about every cream and shampoo prescribed otherwise (didn't do me much good, but I have dermatitis in my scalp so a lot of treatments irrated that too making things worse). However the best but most heartbreaking advice I got from a doctors and a hairdresser was this:
Doc: cut your hair, only go as short as your comfortable and remember its only temporary but taking the extra weight off might help (obviously they can't guarantee anything) and give the scalp and roots time to heal and strengthen.
I lost my hair from the base of my neck on the right up to near the top of my ear within a few months it was just 2p sized spot. So I choose an inverted-bob hair cut it hid it even if it broke my heart.
Docs next advice: if you don't want to cut it try to avoid using bobbles/ties and clips, keep your hair down when you can hair ties are more harmful than you realise.
Doc: if you use dry shampoos stop and try to stay away from colouring your hair
Hair dressers advice: buy some coconut butter once a week or however often you feel massage it into your full head leave it a couple of hours/overnight then rinse it out, your hair is going to look and feel oily but coconut is good and healing.
Hairdresser : invest in a tangle teaser brush/comb and make sure your brushing your hair carefully, and whatever you do leave the area alone, unless you need to touch ie putting medicine on don't touch it cause you'll damage the follicles.
Obviously I tried a bit of a mix/ combination of a few things at first and delayed cutting my hair for the longest time but honestly I think cutting it was the best thing to do, 2 years later and no bald spots.
I still have shorter hair, I actually find it snapping and braking and just pulling out from the scalp once it gets to long but I know it's getting stronger because it used to do that once it reached my shoulder now it a few inches longer and no bald spots.
I hope that helps and i don't mean to put a downer on things but be prepared for reaccurance it might not happen and I pray it doesn't but reaccuring hairloss is quite common especially if it is hormone related. X
