Abdominal pain, ultra sound, fluid around ovary

Hi I recently had been in emergency for very low left abdominal pain around the ovary. I was treated for the pain and was given an ultrasound. The ultrasound came back as small cysts ( which I already had most of my life) but I also had fluid around that area. I’m not sure what this means i got told to take painkillers at home if the pain changes or I start vomiting go straight back to the hospital. it’s been 4 days I still have the pain and last night I collapsed because of the sudden pain. It seems to increase when I tense any of my stomach muscles resulting in me falling. Anybody have any idea what is going on or how I can manage the pain? I do gymnastics and haven’t been able to join in for two weeks which is really affecting my mental health 😔

Pain is generally not a symptom of pcos but is for endometriosis so it may be worth asking on that forum - its quite common to have both conditions.

Hey,

I had this a month ago and the fluid was the cyst which had burst so the blood was leaking in to the womb, I had to have emergency key hole surgery to get it sorted, I would certainly go back as soon as possible to get this pushed, since the surgery I have had no pain at all and I also have PCOS x
