Hi!

So, lately I've been really bloated, like, ridiculously! I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from this?

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 13 years old and am now 19. I've had 1 scan on my ovaries which confirmed rather large cysts on both ovaries. Do you think that if I speak with my GP and request a scan, they could let me have one?

Daily! yes definitely go and see your GP even get a set of bloods done no harm in it after 6 years :) I doubt if you have no pain that they will just depends on your GP sometimes

There really is no point, the cysts are only a symptom and not the cause so you may have no cysts (follicles) this time round when you are scanned and sadly GP's still think that if you have no cysts you don't have pcos, so I wouldn't muddy the water!!

I used to be really bloated, almost became painful sometimes and I did a food diary and mine seems to be combination of food rather than anything on its own, I rarely bloat now thank goodness.

Hi! I'm 19 too. I think you should and they should be able to do so. I think i could have been diagnosed earlier by the way and i got a scan not too far ago after the diagnose.
