I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 20 and was prescribed the pill to help manage the symptoms. I came off the pill 6 months ago as we wanted to try for a baby. We haven't conceived and my GP told me to return in 6 months if we haven't conceived. My partner had tests a number of years ago and was told he has a low sperm count. I'm feeling really down and feel like all I see is pregnant women everywhere. I've put two stone on in the last year, I've recently lost 11lbs but struggling with the rest. Also since coming off the pill my face is spotty and the hair on my face has grown back.

I would get your partner on the Boots Vit C and zinc tablets, my hubbie had low sperm count with lots of dead and two tailed ones and we were border line for IUI but it had improved by over 100% in a year and he was then above average. He ate things with zinc in it like pumpkin seeds (I think it was) so increase your partners zinc as much as poss.
Sadly the joy (or not) of coming off the pill is that you slowly go back to before with weight, spots, hair. Unfortunately there is little that can be done when TTC as well as obviously there is not much research done on pregnancy and some of the medication.
How you are feeling is quite natural - now you see every single pregnant woman, even though you may have not noticed previously.
Make sure your BMI is under 30 to qualify for fertility treatment as well (mine was 30.7 when I conceived !!)
