Tiffin cake and Tiramisu

I made these two this morning. I think it went well although haven’t tasted it yet!

My son was pleased with his tiffin Christmas cake!

The tiramisu was easy to make so would do that again. I tasted it as I was making it and each layer was fine so fingers crossed it will resemble something of a tiramisu 😂

I'm not as well organised as you and am in the pre vacuuming before Christmas stage...

Thank you Jerry.... I’m not that organised really. My son is with me today and Christmas eve and not Christmas Day so I suppose I’m a day ahead of everyone else.

Oh yes I remember the pre vacuuming stage too well, when you have visitors on Christmas Day. I never opted to be the one to have guests on Boxing Day as by then the house always looked like a tornado had whizzed though it.

Thank you. I can say the tiffin cake is very nice 😋and the tiramisu, as the recipe says isn’t as much of a faff as it looks so I’ll report back whether it was worth making when I’ve tasted it.

I decided to make the vegan meatloaf on Christmas Day in the end as it suddenly dawned on me that making the dinner is about the only thing I have to do 😂

Just like me then, all I have to do is prepare the main dinner on Christmas Day and make the stuffing for everyone else as unfortunately I'm the only Vegan - I am trying with the others, I may get there you never know.

You won't be disappointed with the Vegan Meatloaf, it's gorgeous if I say so myself
