Here is the coffee and walnut cake I have made for my visitors this afternoon.
I used to make cakes and would be able to make them effortlessly without stress by just putting all the ingredients in my mixer and whizzing it up. Well today I thought I’d do the same with the vegan ingredients and see how it turned out as I needed it to be quick and easy as I don’t have much time. It’s the first cake like this I have made since being vegan.
I put orgran egg substitute, pure butter, s/r flour, a little milk, sugar, coffee and walnuts in my mixer and blended it all together quickly. Put it into tins and put it in the oven.
This is how it turned out. I think it will be nice for an occasional treat and hopefully my visitors will be happy with it!
