I started shopping in Tesco recently and saw these pots. I felt like having a little treat and to steer away from my normal lunch of sourdough bread sandwiches (fortunately I'm able to now eat sourdough bread which I love).
I had one for lunch today (Brazilian Tomato and Black Bean) and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. Although I looked at the ingredients in the store I didn't notice that the pot I had for lunch had rice in it, ah well, too late now I've eaten it. Some of you may remember that I had food poisoning from a meal pot last November which was a different brand and I said then that I would never eat a pot with rice again. This pot contained red rice so may be better I don't know but I've eaten it now. The other 2 pots definitely don't contain rice.
I would recommend the taste and flavour. I'm keeping the pots so think I'll have a go at making different ones.
Hey Alicia I remember too well. Poor you and I’m sure you won’t be so unlucky twice! Sri Lankan cauliflower one looks nice. Thanks for recommending them 👍🙂🌱
I very rarely buy them but when I do I keep the pots and use them for my home cooked food for the freezer. I love one pot meals and they're ideal for that.
Also, I use freezer bags that I bought a good couple of years ago or more as I wash them, if needed, and re-use. Totally agree re single use plastic.
