Home made gluten free burgers. 🌻

β€’6 Replies

Hi everyone,

After making 2 posts recently about takeaway burgers that the dog probably wouldn't eat. I thought I'd post some home made burgers made with diced chestnut mushrooms onions garlic chilli cooked in olive oil to soften. At the same time I cooked some quinoa and red lentils and mixed them all together with 75g chick pea flour and a little water. I coated them in pumpkin and sesame seeds and lightly cooked in a little olive oil. I had one large one with a simple salad and some boiled new potatoes. These would be really nice cold for a picnic or away from home as they are really firm when cold and the onion and chilli give it added bite and flavour.

They are gluten free plant based and pack a nutritional punch...😊
