purple sweet potato wedges

I've just put these organic purple sweet potato wedges in the oven for a nice healthy comfort snack.

I think the color is absolutely glorious. I'm hoping the darker color means it's a bit higher in phytonutrients than the common orange ones.

The skins are still on, and i'm going to bake them - without any oil - for about 30 mins.

Beautiful colour. I don’t think I’ve seen purple ones. Were they delicious?

They were great, but perhaps not quite as tasty as the orange ones.

I've not seen them in the shops, these were via able&cole.
