No. We don’t need animal milk for anything. In my opinion.

The video says that medical studies, one of 100,00 people, found that milk increases mortality rates.

I watched the video and they certainly aren't promoting milk being good for our bones, quite the opposite, but did admit more study was needed.

I'm of the opinion though that we do not need milk for our bones, there are other plant based foods that provide us with calcium etc.

I will never go back to any animal products whatsoever, I am very happy being a Vegan.

I have had 4 CABGs and a mini-stroke. I have been vegetarian most of my life so it must have been dairy products that blocked my arteries up. Becoming vegan (WFPB) might just save my life.

Oh my goodness, sounds like Veganism is going to be good for you.

All the very best to you.

It might have been dairy, but I avoid all added oil as well, including olive and coconut oils. Eating whole foods that have oil naturally in them should probably be kept low as well (sources of omega 3 such as ground flax seeds should be ok). You might want to watch Dr Caldwell Esselstyn's videos on youtube.

Seen it. The only oils we have are in foods that naturally contain oils, e.g. nuts, seeds and avacados. We can't get fresh olives round here so when we go to Portugal in a few weeks I am going to stuff myself with them.

Hi Jimmy. What do you think personally is the best plant based milk? New to vegan living. Thankyou

It's a matter of taste but you have to read the ingredients because, for example, some oat "milks" don't have any oats in them.

I know some almond milks have very few almonds in but oat milk without any oats would surely violate various trades description acts (in the UK at least)

I found one the other day when I was buying "oat milk" for our milk-allergic granddaughter.

Worth reporting that to your local trading standards office (if you are in the UK) both the brand of milk and the shop itself.

We tend to use soya "milk" as it is made with beans and gives more protein to the diet.

Thanks for information. Bought soya milk. Love it with my porridge, flaxseeds, chia seeds and fruit.
