New DUG Vegan milk made from potatoes

Hi everyone,

Here's another new plant based product its milk made with potato and then emulsified with rapeseed oil. So its a very sustainable product with the availability of potatoes all all DUG milk products are free of the most common allergens including gluten soy and nuts.

Who'd have thought that the humble potato wasn't quite so humble and of anyone has tried DUG milk then please say.

Is it just me, or does this just sound wrong? I'm currently recovering from a bout of colitis so everything sounds wrong, bit even so?!

Have you tried it Hidden ? It may be absolutely wonderful and sustainable. But I have images of watery mashed spuds. 🤔

Hi Hidden this made me smile because I found it hard to envisage but what they do is process potato with an emulsifier to blend it with rapeseed oil, what they are doing is mimicking milk from animals using technology so here’s a link:

It’s very futuristic and no I haven’t tried it but will be on the look out for it. 😊

I know Rach and this shows how inventive the food industry has become and what we have to realise is milk is 87% water. 😊
