cold hands and feet
Hi Lucinda
I use warm fluffy type bed socks that help. I also have innersoles in my trainers/shoes.
My friend bought me some microwaveable slippers for Christmas. They are really good to warm your feet through but you can't walk about in them.
Lets hope the weather gets better soon then we will not get so cold!!
Best wishes
Lynne
Hi Lucinda
I really suffer with cold hands, especially when I'm cycling to and from work. It has become so bad that the only way I can manage, without having numb and painful fingers, is by wearing a pair of heated gloves (£160 from Warmthru). Even when I'm out and about or just driving the car I wear a pair of normal gloves as my hands get so cold. I'm looking forward to some warm weather to
I have CSS and the same problem Lucinder especially during these wintery months. I can be working in the garden and, due to peripheral nerve damage, the cold gradually stiffens my fingers and gripping with my right hand becomes a problem. I wear suitable thick socks so my feet are okay but use trainer socks in bed if necessary.
hi, i've css with cold hands and feet but i got checked out for raynaulds phenominum, its a condition where your hands and feet are effected by the cold. i use heat pads you can buy to put in the microwave to carry around with you, or, use at home. find if i use thick layers i gets colder, i've tried thermal gloves and they not that warm i don't think, i bought some lambs wool gloves as its tightly woven together and found them not to bad. theirs also meds a doctor can prescribe, if you want to get it checked that can help with cold hands and feet
