Yes.

I had these symptoms before my 2nd relapse 9 yrs ago.

I still get them from time to time, the last visit with the consultant ended up having an mri scan = no change noted.

Can I ask you why are you asking? and what does your consultant say about it.

Mine dosent seem to have any answers

Hulo Magcor, I was diagnosed with Wegners 4 years ago, I was an inpatient when numbness in my head first started, I was told it would take a long time then it would go, unfortunately it has got worse and I get numbness and tingling in my nose lip and tongue. My consultant said it was'nt anything to do with Vascfulitus. I also have had an MRI Scan which showed up normal. I have been to physio on several occasions, am now awaiting to see an Orthopeadic Surgeon

Hi Rita, are you asking this question because you have been diagnosed with vasculitis, if so, what type? Or is it a more general question about symptoms that you are experiencing and you wonder if they might be a symptom of vasculitis?

Hi Rita, I too experience this tingling in nose, lips etc, also my feet and hands. The feeling in my nose lips etc I liken to the anaesthetic feeling after being at the dentist, perhaps this is how yours feels too. I was diagnosed with WG in June so things are still quite unsettled for me and I am not feeling too great yet, (although ANCA/ESR etc all seem to be improving). My Consultant mentioned that the tingling/numbness could be due to nerve damage and was referring me to neurology but she didn't seem too concerned about it. I am afraid, I think it is another one of those things that MAY get better or we just have to learn to put up with it! I have had 3 MRIs in last 5 months because symptoms not improving but nothing sinister showed up. If you get any other answers from your Health Care consultants I would be interested to hear them.

Good Luck

Lynn
