I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Pat, Holly, Carl, Wayne et al for organising today's meet in Doncaster and to Dr Stevens (Consultant Rheumatologist Doncaster & Bassetlaw) for giving up his Sunday to give an excellent presentation on Vasculitis and it's treatment and also being so willing to answer our many questions. It was great to meet kindred spirits too.
Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks, that's very kind of you. We certainly had a good turn out. Dr Stevens talk was excellent and he answered questions fully and without any "flannel". Of course, he is more used to speaking to other medical professionals but he tailored his presentation at the right level for the audience present. There were a number of newly diagnosed vasculitis patients there and I hope that they went away better informed about their disease, the treatments available and the prognosis.
It was a lot of hard work and took some planning, but I think it was really worthwhile. Dr Stevens is going to provide me with the Powerpoint slides and I shall do a write up - probably having it as an article in the Spring Vasculitis UK Newsletter/Journal.
We agree the Yorkshire Vasculitis Support group meeting was brilliant today...probably the best we have attended. Dr Robert Stevens talked about vasculitis and it's treatment. His talk was informative, factual and understandable. He answered everyones questions honestly and openely...he was great. Many thanks to Pat, Holly, Wayne, Carl and Jennifer.
