With the launch of the Route Map, coupled with the media launch (which started last week), let's hope this is the start of many such stories which vasculitis patients have shared with us and which we have presented to the media throughout the country. It is only by raising awareness, as the Trust is trying to do, that things will improve, not only for the patients but within the professions who deal with the vasculitis patient.

There seem to be far too manypatients who are still in the dark about their disease and where to get help (pastoral and financial).

Also if we can reach at least some professionals who have never heard of vasculitis that can only be a good thing for present and future vasculitis patients.
