6 months ago my daughter was finally diagnosed with IgA Vasculitis after a couple of years' of debilitating stomach pain and an outbreak of purpura in February of this year. At the time, she tested negative for ANCA. She has now tested positive for ANCA and I just wanted to ask if it's possible that she still just has IgA Vasculitis or whether the new presence of ANCA would indicate that she now has one of the more serious forms? Any advice would be very much appreciated, thank you!
