Last Tuesday at the Health Innovation campus in Lancaster a between 40-45 Vasculitis patients attended and Vasculitis Awareness evening. The event was organised by Preston Hospital Renal. A multi- disciplined team of doctors gave talk on many aspects of living with Vasculitis. There was also presentation on the work of the team and research undertaken by the team members.
It was a great evening with many of us coming away with a greater understanding of our condition.

Do you know if there is any information on the discussions of the evenings event, I have been diagnosed with large vesel vasculitis, And I’m looking for information on how it’s affecting others. I live in the Ribble Valley and would have loved to have attended this event.
Hi, No I am afraid that the talks were not recorded. It is hoped that there will be more events like this. They will be advertised here and hopefully on Facebook.
My colleague and run occasional Saturday coffee morning at the hotel at the Junction of A59 and M6. They are just so people can meet and talk to others. We advertise them in advance here and F/B.
There are details of support groups on the Vasculitis UK web site. vasculitis.org.uk/about/fin.... My colleague and I are under North West Support.
