Is it OK to have a tooth extraction 2 weeks after Rituximab infusion?

Should be fine but you’ll need to be given antibiotics to take before (usually 30 minutes before the dental procedure you’d take a big dose of amoxicillin and then go on a short course for the week after) and ask everyone in the room to wear a mask. Mask wearing is usually standard with dentists anyway. Insist on the antibiotics and talk to your consultant if your dentist isn’t sure, but your dentist should be aware of procedures for immune suppressed patients so they can prescribe, but be sure to let them know in advance.
