EGPA - link with Eosinophilic oesophagitis (EoE)

Now 6 weeks into this EGPA journey - after initial high dose steroid treatment CRP markers and Eosinophil counts were low going in right direction. Past three weeks they have both increased a lot and steroids and MTX dose now also being increased. I was reading about EOE (which I was also diagnosed with after having swallowing difficulties a number of times the past 5 years) and it recommends cutting out 6 food groups to address EOE (exclusion of wheat, milk, egg, nuts, soy, fish and shellfish). Does anyone know if this could also help with controlling / reducing Eosinophil count alongside steroids etc?
